iA Writer  --A simple app that makes writing on the iPad easier.

Smart Office 2  $9.99 --My favorite “office” type app.  Most documents seem to appear as they do in MS Office.

TinkerBox  -- It is a free, fun-to-play physics game and puzzle that puts you in the role of inventor, problem solver, and engineer extraordinaire.

Popplet  --A simple and easy app that is great for brainstorming.  My favorite use is the “sticky” note feature.

WordFoto  A fun app to combine pictures and words.

VoiceThread  --  A collaborative, interactive, multimedia slide show that holds images, documents, and videos.

Minds of Modern Mathematics  -- The Minds of Modern Mathematics takes you on an interactive journey that spans nearly 1,000 years. It tells the story of mathematics and how it has impacted almost every aspect of human progress, from science to music, art, architecture, and culture.

Stats of the Union  -- Stats of the Union is an iPad app for exploring data from the Community Health Status Indicators report. Explore the nation’s vital signs — from life expectancy to access to medical care — and make your own conclusions about America’s health. See a stat you’d like to share? Save it as a snapshot.
